I can still recall my high school advisor telling me how unrealistic it was for me to get accepted to The University of Alabama with my GPA and test scores. She was right, they rejected me. However, I appealed the decision, wrote a five-page essay, and drove ten hours to speak to academics in person. Four years later, I graduated with honors and the same person who admitted me into the school awarded me my diploma. I am currently a law school graduate with a focus in Sports, Marketing and Entertainment. I chose to attend law school because I believe that your platform presents opportunity. Having a law degree will enable me to represent and inspire people who've stumbled, who've failed, who've been rejected and who've been told that a goal is unrealistic.
